friendly and very good breakfast, comfy bed and good shower.
Dislikes:
too many nic-nacs about the place for our liking , but that did not spoil the place for us.

Quiet setting but very close to all facilities for a good holiday. Mr and Mrs Pickup made every effort to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The breakfasts and service were first class.
Dislikes:
We had booked for a twin room but this request had not been passed on to our hosts. This was rectified speedily when madse known to the hosts. The booking agents should take note.

We were looking for a lovely, good quality B&B near to Scarborough - so we could explore the area and have dinner at night. We had the loft room which was really perfect - fantastic big stand-alone bath in the bathroom and really nice luxury touches like dressing gowns and a hamper (complete with wine!)
Also really easy to get a taxi into Scarborough, and only about five pounds - not far at all. I'd definitely recommend this B&B! Read less

Our room was really lovely - had a luxury feel, with big bed, gorgeous big bath and dressing gowns. Also loved the wine in the hamper – great way to welcome ourselves into the B&B.

Friendly host, lovely with great rooms home in a semi-rural setting, great breakfast. Close to the town of Scalby with good pub meal.
Dislikes:
No complaints whatsoever - exceptional.

The farmhouse is situated just on the outside of Scalby and is in walking distance to the village where they have 2No very good pubs and an excellant restaurant The Yew Tree which we would recommend.

The loft bedroom is beautiful and the fresh fruit, flowers and yummy cake on arrival were the incing on the cake - two comfy arm chairs in the room made relaxing, watching TV, reading etc more comfortable too.
