Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble for our hosts. Rooms lovely and clean and great selection of drinks etc. Breakfast excellent and cooked very well. Good location.
Dislikes:
Bed was a little creaky - very minor niggle!

The suite was gorgeous in its top floor location with views over the countryside and stables.
Dislikes:
Not for the over-tall in the top loft suite due to the low side eaves and low doors - although it was fine for me at just 5'! And it added to the character.

Having booked at very short notice for a chill-out weekend away on my own, I was very happy with the warm welcome and service I received at Foulsyke Farmhouse. Although Owen & Karen had only taken over the business 10 days previously they couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great - everything you could possibly wish for, all fresh and beautifully cooked. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Read less

The location was ideal - very quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of both Whitby and Scarborough. Nice walks locally and frequent bus service if required. Walking distance to Scalby Village.
Dislikes:
Parking was limited for someone like me who is not so good in tight spaces, but it wasnt a problem at this time of year and again there was plenty of help available if required.
