The farmhouse is situated just on the outside of Scalby and is in walking distance to the village where they have 2No very good pubs and an excellant restaurant The Yew Tree which we would recommend.

Foulsyke Farmhouse is beautiful, in a lovely location, very convenient for Scarborough, Whitby, York etc. etc. Jane and her husband are lovely and we were well looked after. The loft bedroom is beautiful and the fresh fruit, flowers and yummy cake on arrival were the incing on the cake - two comfy arm chairs in the room made relaxing, watching TV, reading etc more comfortable too. The size ie small just a few rooms and very friendly.
Dislikes:
The room we had was very small but we were there only one night so it was not a problem. Whilst compact there was everything you could need in the room and a very nice ensuite.

This accomodation is excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a superb bathroom. There was chocolate cake in our room on arrival, a bowl of fruit replenished daily, biscuits, bottled water, an assortment of teas and coffee. Breakfast was first class.
The location of Foulsyke put us off initially, however Scalby village is lovely, and Scarborough sea life centre is less than a 3 mile walk if you follow the river. There is a half hourly bus until 7pm if you prefer. Read less

The beauty of Foulsyke Farmhouse is its rural location however it is just 3 miles from Scarborough town centre, 12 miles from Whitby and 1/.2 mile from the north yorkshire national park. due to our location we offer peace and quite.

Location is excellent as Whitby, Scarborough and Yorkshire Moors are all easily accessible. Read less
