The room was excellent, and the bathroom (we stayed in the loft suite) was absolutely incredible. Generous range of complimentary snacks and drinks. Breakfast was hearty and delicious.
Dislikes:
The TV in our room was badly positioned - you could only watch it from one part of the bed.

Lovely charachter farmhouse that feels quirky but warm and welcoming. The B&B is a 5 minute drive from Scarborough town centre. It's on the outskirts of Scalby which gives a rural feeling.

The event was my partners birthday and this just made it even better. Easy to find, plently of parking. Karen welcomed us and showed us our room which was excellent with full on-suite facilities, tv, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, tea-coffee facilities. The bedding was first class as were the towels and toileteries. Breakfast is excellent with ample supply of tea-coffee and toast. Given own key. Introduced to Owen who served us. They make a brilliant hosts. Read less

"Fantastic Foulsyke Farmhouse"
We were very lucky to stay for a couple of nights in the fabulous Foulsyke Farmhouse in early October 2011. From the moment we arrived (earlier than expected) we were greeted and made very welcome by the owners.
The farmhouse is situated in the lovely village of Scalby and was an ideal base for trip into the countryside, up to Whitby and even a trip in to Scarborough!
The farmhouse is on a nice quiet road which means you get a really peaceful, relaxing break. Read less

Our room was a really good size, warm, cosy, and clean, with a good sized bathroom. In the morning we were served up a cracking breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily go back.
Dislikes:
The only thing that I didn't like, was that we should have stayed an extra night and simply travelled in and out of Scarborough for the day instead of staying in the town, but this was our own fault!
